I have been a counselor for over thirty years, and throughout my career, I have grown both as a human being and as a professional. My approach to working with individuals and couples today emphasizes supporting and guiding them toward greater self-awareness and mindfulness. I believe in fostering personal growth and transformation from the "inside out and outside in." This approach ensures that the insights gained from the counseling experience are both sustainable and authentic. As a result, individuals are more successful in achieving their goals, as well as finding acceptance, peace, and joy.

A bit about my approach to therapy
I have a tool belt of approaches that I use to offer clients an individualized experience.
I use Mindfulness, Eclectic, CBT,
Brainspotting, Relational, Transpersonal, Trauma-Focused, Family Systems, and Parts Work.
What you can expect from our first session
Once you have scheduled an appointment, you will be e-mailed an intake packet. Besides asking for profile information, you will be sent assessments. Please take the time to answer the questions as honestly as possible, as this will help me with your treatment plan and with knowing how best to support you. In our first session we will discuss the information in the intake packet, gather some additional information, and talk about how I can help you.
Supportive Information
I may request that you complete various tasks as part of your treatment plan. It may be reading a book or article, listening to a podcast, doing something outside of your comfort zone in regard to communication or behaviors. Just know there will be no judgement around whether you complete the tasks in a timely manner or at all. It is VERY important and part of your growth/healing process to communicate with me as directly as possible and to tell me if something feels too uncomfortable. This will allow me to get to know you better, and if we need to change direction with our approach.
